The role
The candidate will be required to manage a portfolio of client energy positions.

Key responsibilities
• Perform an energy strategy debrief with risk management when a new client is entered into the candidates portfolio
• You will ensure that your client portfolio are regularly briefed regarding their risk positions in line with their strategies
• Manage the price risk of your client portfolio and ensure that you operate within the energy strategy limits
• Ensure your client portfolio positions are tracked at all times against the market.
• Where required perform ad hoc market pricing analytics to support your portfolio
• Provide recommendations to your client portfolio as to when to buy and sell energy

Candidate requirements
• Have at least 3 years of energy experience working in either the gas or power markets
• Be working in a similar role for a good named energy supplier or energy trading company
• Have experience within a trading environment.
• Hold at least a bachelors degree in a relevant subject
• Working knowledge of UK broker screens software
