Our client is a global infrastructure services company looking to recruit a business development manager to join its expanding team.

Role
Following recent expansion, our client is looking for an exceptional new business development manager to lead the continued growth of the client base. Based in London the role will involve travel for client meetings as but also allow for a certain level of home working.

You will have a good broad understanding of energy and energy saving in addition to a strong sales background. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team and add to this value via new business.

The role will include:
• Alignment, tendering and contract negotiation for energy and support service contracts
• New business/client growth to the client portfolio
• Developing and expanding the knowledge of energy markets to the wider team
• Increasing company presence in the industry and attending appropriate exhibitions and networking events.
• Manage and meet clients on a regular basis
• Managing current accounts and generating additional business from existing and new clients
• Responsibility for keeping up to date on legislative changes in the energy markets

• Demonstrate success in securing contracts in a construction capacity
